Merodi.Org: Merodi has been around for quite a while, with a "Contruction, Opening Soon," sign. Well, after renewing this domain name for two years, I've finally decided to take the time out and actually do something. Merodi.Org is pretty much my long-time project which I am always trying to satisfy myself with. I'm always wanting to change it, so that it can fit to my current likings.
The Beginning: So Merodi has a pretty long history behind it. My love for graphics designing began 10 years ago. The first ever website I've made was on GeoCitie's free website. I've finally decided to move on from using GeoCity, and went on to looking for my own host. I wasn't so fond of finding a host, so instead I bought my own domain and hosting, and named it SincerityDreams.Net. However, that lasted for about 9 months, because the hosting was just way too much money; and in the end, I ended up paying about 300$ of hosting money for 2 months. Ever since then I was afraid to buy my own host and domain, so I went to research on people who were hosting, and one of my close friends agreed to help me with my website and provided me hosting. I went on to Affection, my graphics website, and Recollection, my blog. After sticking to those two for about a year, my friend let me use her domain, and I took on the project of launching Kyuusei.Org, after finishing the layout, I was just too lazy to continue on, so I lagged it for about a year, and in the end the domain was expired, and I never got it to open.
The Webmistress: My name is Yuki, yes it is my real name. I am Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese, but I am only fluent in Vietnamese, and am currently Japanese. I blow out the candles on September 11th. I am currently in college, studying for my Ph.D. Graphics designing is my hobby, and nothing I would probably be majoring in. I've been graphics designing for a pretty long time. I do not have a definite style, because I'm always doing something different. Music is my inspiration, whether it's for my graphics, or just life itself. I did not learn my styles from tutorials, it's mostly me just poking around and trying out new things. I am in love with gaming, although because of school I haven't been able to play anything serious. Some games I've played/playing are: Ragnarok Online, Trickster Online, LaTale, Aion, Kartrider, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead 1 & 2, and the list goes on. My favorite fruit is Strawberries, and one day I hope to get myself a Strawberry plush. I love collecting cute plushy things. I have a collection of tofus that is slowly growing. My typical day when I'm not going to school is, to sleep in, eat, watch anime, and play some games, and listen to music while I think about my life. And that is your typical Yuki.
